Louisa Dent studied screenwriting at the Victorian College of the Arts, earning a Bachelor of Creative Studies (1997-2000), and is also well versed in various narrative theories, including those of Dramatica (narrative software), Syd Field,  Robert McKee, Joseph Campbell and Christopher Vogel.
